If Beethoven could continue composing even after he became totally deaf, can a seasoned artist draw without seeing? In this challenge, we blindfolded Michael Ng – better known as Mindflyer – and asked him to translate what he saw in his mind onto paper to illustrate this point.

Michael is a veteran artist / Illustrator in Singapore. Since running his own studio in 1999, he has infused his original style into many interesting projects. Always eager to push the envelope and give each client a unique expression, he has produced prominent illustration works for Tangs, Adidas, Philips, The National Art Gallery and Kalkitos.
Besides painting, exhibiting and teaching, Michael is also a founding member of the illustrator group OICsingapore where he actively engages and challenges young illustrators.
