GET IN TOUCHWe were invited by Herman Miller and XTRA to represent Singapore in the Asia Pacific “Let’s talk black and white about positive change” campaign. The campaign had dual purposes: to raise awareness against piracy, while also raising funds for a charitable organisation of our choice, the Children’s Cancer Foundation.
The installation is reminiscent of a caterpillar – an early connection to the natural world for children. The head is represented by the lounge chair, while the body segments are formed by eight low tables, each symbolising the eight letters that make up the name “Togather”.
The artwork depicts our underlying social ties, where no man is an island. It suggests a society united in spirit, linked together as a beacon of hope and support for children afflicted with cancer.
