It is also an unforgettable landmark that once boasted the nation’s largest seating capacity and superior theatrical technologies.
When the area was slated for redevelopment, award-winning architectural firm WOHA commissioned &Larry to design a book for its proposal.
The result is a stunningly oversized volume that showcased classic elegance against bold and modern graphic representations. Visually glorifying a theatre earmarked for redevelopment, the design gave readers a spirited glimpse into the proposed evolution of Singapore’s grand dame in entertainment history.
