Studio Daminato is named after its principal architect and designer Albano Daminato, known for his timeless interiors that exude a seemingly effortless grace.
Like its founder, the mark is elegant and devoid of unnecessary embellishments – save for a short thin stroke between the words. The stroke acts in two ways: as a divider, or arbiter of space and as a joiner of spaces and ideas.
For the launch of its website, a deliberately evocative A2-sized poster was designed to pique the curiosity of recipients without the use of images. Stark, black graphic boxes were placed where images would normally appear to lure readers to the website for a full view of the designer’s work.
