&Larry was invited by Hide & Seek, retail representative for Nooka lifestyle products in Singapore, to become one of 10 handpicked artists to customise the Nookanooka collectible toy.
The brief was simple: we could do whatever we wanted. Intrigued by the horns on the toy which were designed to display Nooka watches, we decided to keep their functionality in our interpretation. We imagined a teddy bear plushie being taken over by the toy. The horns piercing out of the bear’s head are testament to the clash. Since the bear bore and survived the brunt of the “impact”, we named it Brunt the Bear.
