Royston Tan – 4:30.

A departure from director Royston Tan’s violently funky full-length debut movie “15”, “4:30” is a quiet and reflective film that is at times both silly and fun.

This European version of the poster was conceived to look more like the cover of a contemporary novel than a typical film poster. Futura was chosen as the typeface for its simplicity and quirkiness, avoiding potential impressions of an Asian horror or suspense thriller.

The Asian versions of the poster present the actors’ “cosy” body postures in an uncomfortable angle, hinting at their unsettled states of mind in the film.
